History of Leader: Daniel Paille was elected as the leader of the Quebec Party in 2011. He has had several other jobs supporting the province of Quebec and the French people in the past. He loves Quebec and the french people and is seen as an ideal leader for their party.
Ideologies: The main purpose of the Bloc Quebecois is to protect the interests of Quebec in the house of commons and to separate Quebec from Canada and make it its own country. The party supports left wing nationalism. They support equality, popular sovereignty and a bigger government.
Opinion: I feel like that the Quebec party are being sort of selfish here and only believe in the good for their province. I don't think they should ever get a seat in the house of commons. They are a left wing nationalist party that believe in Patriotism and Authoritarianism which is a big powerful government. Even if they had a different name, they still wouldn't be suited to have a say in Canada's politics and the fact that they want Quebec separated only worsens their issue.
